Welcome to Greenstone Publishing LLC Mobile Apps ("the App"). By downloading, installing, or using this App, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Overview

Greenstone Publishing LLC mobile apps are iOS applications that uses on-device AI processing to deliver insights, summaries, and contextual information. 

The App may also function as an RSS reader that allows you to input and manage your own RSS feed sources. Optional integrations may include third-party services such as weather, email, traffic, stock, internet search or news providers.

The App operates locally on your Apple device but may request data from selected third-party APIs when configured by you.

2. Device Requirements

To ensure optimal performance, your device must meet the following minimum requirements:

Operating System: iOS 18.0 or later (best with iOS 26.0+)

Apple Intelligence: Must be enabled

Memory: Minimum 8 GB RAM

Storage: Minimum 50 GB free disk space

You are responsible for ensuring your device meets these specifications.

2a. Age Requirements

The App is rated 9+ and is intended for users ages 9 and older. Users under 13 years of age should use the App only with parental supervision and consent.

Parents and guardians are responsible for:

• Supervising children's use of the App

• Managing third-party service integrations (email, stocks, etc.)

• Monitoring data access through iOS Privacy & Security settings

By allowing a child under 13 to use the App, you (the parent/guardian) consent to the data processing described in the Privacy Policy.

3. Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI)

The App uses artificial intelligence to process, summarize, and generate content based on your inputs and configured data sources.

AI outputs may contain inaccuracies, errors, or incomplete information. You are solely responsible for verifying the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of all AI-generated results before relying on them.

The developer makes no guarantees regarding the factual correctness, relevance, or suitability of AI responses for any purpose.

4. RSS Feeds and External Content

You must supply your own RSS feed URLs and AI API keys where necessary. The App does not host, endorse, or control the content provided through these feeds.

You are solely responsible for ensuring that the RSS feeds you add comply with applicable copyright laws, terms of use, and data-access restrictions of their respective providers.

The developer is not liable for any errors, unavailability, or content quality issues resulting from third-party RSS feeds or services.

5. Third-Party Integrations

When configured, the App may retrieve data from external sources, including but not limited to:

Apple Services:

• WeatherKit: Weather forecasting and current conditions

• MapKit: Traffic routing and commute time calculations (home/work addresses)

• Apple Intelligence: On-device AI processing

Email Services (Optional):

• Gmail (Google LLC)

• iCloud Mail (Apple Inc.)

• Yahoo Mail (Yahoo Inc.)

Stock Services (Optional):

• StockData.org: Requires user's own API key from StockData, Inc.

• Only stock ticker symbols are shared (no portfolio holdings or financial accounts)

News Services (Optional):

• RSS feeds and news APIs you configure

These features are provided **as-is** and depend on the availability and policies of each third-party provider.

The App processes this information locally on your device and does not transmit your personal data to external servers without your consent (except as required for third-party service functionality, e.g., Apple MapKit traffic routing).

You acknowledge that use of these integrations may be subject to the separate terms and privacy policies of those third-party services.

5a. Trademark Acknowledgments

The following trademarks are the property of their respective owners:

• Apple, iOS, WeatherKit, MapKit, Apple Intelligence, iCloud, and iCloud Mail are trademarks of Apple Inc., registered in the U.S. and other countries.

• Gmail and Google are trademarks of Google LLC.

• Yahoo and Yahoo Mail are trademarks of Yahoo Inc.

• StockData.org is a service provided by StockData, Inc.

Greenstone Publishing LLC is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of these companies. The App integrates with these services solely for user convenience and functionality.

6. User Responsibilities

By using the App, you agree that you will:

* Use the App only for lawful purposes;

* Not use the App to distribute harmful or unauthorized content;

* Respect intellectual property rights of third parties;

* Not attempt to reverse engineer, modify, or resell the App.

7. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The App is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

The developer disclaims all liability for:

* Errors or omissions in AI-generated content;

* Inaccuracies from RSS or third-party data;

* Service interruptions or device incompatibility;

* Any loss or damage resulting from reliance on information produced by the App.

In no event shall the developer be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of or inability to use the App.

8. Privacy and Data Handling

The App processes data locally on your device.

No personal information is collected, stored, or transmitted by the developer except as required for functionality explicitly initiated by the user (e.g., third-party API calls).

9. Updates and Modifications

The developer may update or modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after such updates constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Termination

The developer reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to the App at any time for violation of these Terms or misuse of the service.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Virginia, USA, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
